SNOiL

The first SNOIL was born on March 31, 2014 after crochet enthusiast Emily Ciletti Kelly decided to try her hand (and her crochet hooks) at amigurumi, a style of yarn art best known for adorable stuffed toys. She created SNOIL originally as an idea for personal family gifts. However, with the help of her good friend Kimberly Intorre, SNOIL soon became so very popular that they were being sold to fans across the globe!
SNOIL is actually hand-made in Denmark, because this is where Emily lives with her husband and son. But she still considers State College, Pennsylvania, her home at heart, which helps to keep her SNOIL connections strong. Several times a year the SNOILs find themselves lovingly packed up to take the long journey to their forever homes - to YOU!
Each SNOIL takes 8-10 hours to craft, as each piece is individually crocheted out of 100% wool, then stuffed and assembled to make a complete SNOIL doll. SNOIL's signature striped scarf is also hand-made, crocheted of 100% cotton. And every SNOIL is hand-numbered, meaning that each one is unique; no two are alike!

A note to our amazing customers: SNOILs are made in a non-smoking home that has a cat and a dog. While Emily tries her best to keep all SNOIL materials away from her pets, she cannot guarantee that the finished SNOIL products will be "pet hair free."

If you are a current SNOIL owner and your SNOIL gets damaged, send us a message and we will come up with a plan to replace your doll at a reduced cost. Due to the constant changes in materials (different yarn dye lots, for example), it is not possible to repair a damaged item.
We recommend spot cleaning your SNOILs if they should get dirty. It is not recommended to wash the entire doll, as it could compromise the overall structure of the toy. We also suggest keeping your SNOILs out of direct sunlight, which will fade the color of the wool.
Thanks for visiting our SNOIL site. Come back again soon!
